CONTENT CREATION, 2022

Marina was crowned world long boarding champion in 2020 and since then has had a remarkable impact on the youth in her community using skateboarding as her protagonist. Marina needed content for her sponsor Timber Boards in the form of a reel and a carousel post for her instagram account.

Marina’s socials were buzzing with raw social content and although we knew this did well on her channel we wanted something fresh and more produced which we hoped would kickstart a new type of content.

What is raw content?

This is the type of content you find all over socials these days. It’s typically shot by phone and put together simply and effortlessly. It works very well but it’s important to have a balance between this and some more eye catching and produced visuals.

We decided to spice it up !

The plan was to shift a gear and bring a new type of content to her channel. We wanted something more polished to shed some new light on her content.

The shoot was grungy, unfiltered, to the point and created a lot of noise. It was a side to her that her audience hadn’t really seen before and worked brilliantly.

The content is now booming !

In present we can see that this type of content has taken off on her socials as she reaches more brands and a wider audience. It was something new but we’re so happy we took the risk and appreciate our clients having the freedom to experiment.

The idea is to stick with trends but shift them ever so slightly. To be original in a time when it’s so easy to jump onto trends. We value originality and are always pushing limits and looking at things for how they could be.
